Drapery Drawing
DRAPERY DRAWING: In this assignment, we were tasked with drawing a still life of different types of towels draped over boxes. It was more of a fundamental practice to have us learn more about how things drape such as clothing material and things along that nature.
Below is the process of the final product. I first started practicing drawing a different still life of towels the class before I started the final project. I then started sketching and adding value to the final piece. Soon after I began, I decided I wanted to leave some negative space in the drawing to make it more interesting and have a clearer focal point.
Looking back on this drawing, there are some things I would like to have changed but all together, I quite like the finished product.
